This episode of NPR's How I Built this covers Sarah Blakely, the founder and creator of Spanx. From failing her LSAT twice to selling fax machines door to door to becoming the youngest female billionaire in the world. She was brave enough to secure Neiman Marcus as her first client and get Oprah to wear her new garment, creating revenue of $10mil in 2 years! And might I add that she is still 100% owner of Spanx with no partners.
